MCCC Spring Break | March 12 - 21, 2027
A faculty-led international learning experience
Join Mercer faculty for an immersive exploration of the Holocaust, Jewish heritage, and World War II in Nazi-occupied Poland through visits to historic sites, museums, and memorials.
SITES YOU’LL VISIT INCLUDE:
- Auschwitz-Birkenau
- POLIN Museum (Museum of the History of Polish Jews)
- Warsaw Rising Museum
- Oskar Schindler's Factory
- Museum exploring Nazi occupation and the people whose lives were saved through Schindler's efforts
- Płaszów
- Former Nazi forced labor camp
Includes airfare, hotels, tours, excursions, & some meals
Total cost of trip: $2,950
- After filling out application, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.
- Balance due after deposit must be paid by Dec. 1, 2026.
Open to the public. Limited to 25 participants.
Partial scholarships for students may be available
OPTIONAL COLLEGE CREDIT
Students participating in the trip may earn up to 9 credits by enrolling in one or more of the following courses for Spring 2027 - 7A Session: HIS 213, HIS 215, and/or PHI 205. Additional coursework is required, and tuition is not included in the cost of the trip.
