The Business, Technology, and Professional Studies Division of Mercer County Community College (BTP) prepares, equips, and empowers students for successful transfer to four-year institutions, direct entry to the workforce, or continuing education. Whichever path you follow, BTP faculty and staff work to build an academic foundation for life-long learning which encourages critical and global thinking, problem solving and communication skills.

The division offers a diverse set of programs, certificates, and micro credentials. No matter what the major, we pride ourselves on providing students with a rigorous curriculum in a nurturing learning environment. Class sizes are small and encourage group work as well as student participation. In addition to holding academic qualifications, the vast majority of our faculty have professional experience, as well as certifications in their field. Faculty engage in professional development as well as opportunities for research and grant work. As academic advisement is core to MCCC's commitment to student success, BTP prides itself on our faculty advising for both academic and career pathways.

In this fast-evolving environment of Industrialization 4.0, centered around AI, data science, digitalization, and the internet of things, the BTP division strives to keep both curriculum and student experiences relevant. Beyond the classroom, the student experience is enhanced with vibrant clubs such as Computer Science/AI, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Hospitality, Funeral Service and Criminal Justice. Our graduates have won awards in statewide competitions, transferred to impressive universities, and moved on to employment in their pursued careers.

I encourage you to explore our programs and offerings and allow us to help you achieve your academic and career goals.
