Whether it is now or later, the Internet will become a big part of your life. You may use it at home, on the job, or at school. Using the Internet to examine a prospective college, to read a college catalogue, to do a college or scholarship search, or to communicate with students at a particular college will all become routine.

Some hints about using the Internet for college selection:

• Most college websites can be accessed by entering the name of the college followed by edu. Example: Rutgers University = http://www.rutgers.edu
• Check the New Jersey Transfer website for information about transferring to New Jersey colleges and universities
• Get information about transfer to Rutgers University at http://www.artsys.rutgers.edu
• Get financial aid and scholarship information at http://www.fastweb.com
• Do a college search at http://www.petersons.com
• Get information on colleges, ask questions of the admissions guru, etc. at http://www.mycollegeguide.org
