Career Training Institute at the Kerney Campus

Mercer County Community College's Career Training Institute (CTI) specializes in short-term, entry-level training. The student body is made up of persons eager to enter the world of work for the first time and/or the experienced worker wishing to upgrade his/her skills. We also serve that segment of the populations re-entering the work world after an extended leave of absence. CTI has something for everyone.

CTI can open the door to a better future in 30 weeks. The staff of the One-Stop Career Center are prepared to assist both credit and noncredit students with the job search process through one on one counseling, workshops, and access to the internet in our state of the art computer lab. Additionally, graduates have the opportunity to make a seamless transition into the Associate Degree Program after completion.

Students need a high school diploma or GED and must take an entrance exam in which they must score a 9.0 in reading comprehension and an 8.0 in math. We do accept financial aid and payment plans.
