Requirements to Earn the CAMT

Work Experience: At least 12 months of apartment or rental housing maintenance experience. (Note: This can be completed while taking the course, during which you will hold a provisional certification).

Coursework: Completion of approximately 80 to 96 hours of training (comprising classroom and hands-on modules).

Exam: Successful completion of the online or in-person CAMT exam within 12 months of declaring candidacy.

INTRODUCTION TO WELDING: MIG, TIG, & Stick Welding Techniques

This 12-week, hands-on course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of welding. Students will gain practical experience with a variety of welding methods and materials, making it ideal for beginners or those looking to build a strong foundation for further training or career advancement in the trades. Receive credit for MET 232 (3 credits) based upon assessments. MET 232 is part of MCCC's Manufacturing Engineering Technology program!

Introductory Solar Installation Training

New Jersey is set to add nearly 100,000 clean energy jobs by 2035. Don’t wait to join this growing industry! This free training will provide an understanding of solar energy systems, components, solar PV markets, electrical basics, and hands-on training to install rooftop solar arrays on residential and commercial buildings. You will leave with an OSHA-30 certification and a Solar Installation training certificate from Solar One. This course is FREE to students (funded by Dimension Renewable Energy).

At the conclusion of the course, you’ll have an overview of:

UNIFORM CONSTRUCTION CODE

These classes are for general contractors who are seeking to advance their careers and become New Jersey State Inspectors for local municipalities. The New Jersey State Department of Community Affairs (DCA) offers tuition reimbursement for qualified applicants. Notes:

All coursework within a particular discipline must be taken in the appropriate sequence (i.e. RCS, ICS, HHS).
