Workforce Training offers a variety of Training and Industry Certification Programs.

NJ Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) : This program provides comprehensive training for individuals seeking to obtain a CDL. It includes classroom instruction and hands-on driving experience with commercial vehicles. Graduates are prepared for careers in transportation, logistics, and delivery services.

NJ Film Academy : This program offers training in various aspects of the film industry, including Production, Office and Accounting; On Set Production; and Hair, Makeup and Wardrobe.

Solar Energy : This program provides training in the installation, maintenance, and management of solar energy systems. It includes hands-on experience with solar panels and an understanding of renewable energy technologies. Graduates are prepared for careers in the growing field of renewable energy.

EveryDay Entrepreneur: Mercer County Community College has been selected to participate in the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE)’s Everyday Entrepreneur Program (EEP) Level One. The EEP provides community colleges with support to offer entrepreneurial education and funding to students, helping them turn their businesses from an idea to a thriving enterprise. As a participant, MCCC will provide an entrepreneurship non-credit bootcamp and conduct a Pitch Competition. Through the support of MCCC’s Workforce Training department, entrepreneurs will obtain skills required to be long-term successful business owners.

General GMP Professional: This 3-day program provides an introduction to regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Participants will learn about FDA regulations, document control, data integrity, and cleanroom behavior, preparing them for roles in quality assurance and compliance within the pharmaceutical sector.

Aseptic Cleaning: This 1-week program combines classroom instruction and lab practice to teach the fundamentals of aseptic cleaning in cleanroom environments. Topics include cGMP, GDP, microbiology basics, disinfection techniques, and sources of microbial contamination. Graduates are equipped for roles in aseptic cleaning and GMP compliance.

Aseptic Biomanufacturing: This comprehensive 5-week program covers the entire biomanufacturing process, from upstream to downstream operations. It includes training in aseptic techniques, cell culture, bioreactor setup, chromatography, and contamination control. Participants will gain hands-on experience in cleanroom environments, preparing them for roles such as cell processing specialist and aseptic production associate.
