Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Requirement/s: Basic computer skills

This foundational course prepares learners for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) certification exam while establishing a strong pathway toward the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) credential. Designed for individuals pursuing entry-level careers in logistics and supply chain operations, the course introduces core concepts in warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and global supply chain processes.

Through hands-on instruction and real-world application, learners develop a practical understanding of logistics operations, workplace safety standards, quality practices, and the technologies that support today’s distribution and transportation systems. The course also emphasizes essential employability skills such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and operational awareness - all critical for success in fast-paced logistics environments.

Upon successful completion, participants will be prepared to sit for the MSSC CLA certification exam and advance confidently into the CLT course and other career opportunities within the logistics and supply chain industry.

Certified Logistics Technician (CLt)

Requirement/s: Basic computer skills

This course builds on the foundational Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) course by providing advanced, hands-on training in essential warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. Learners will deepen their understanding of inventory management practices, transportation methods, and key cost factors such as tariffs, duties, and freight considerations. The course also explores critical documentation requirements for both domestic and international shipments, as well as measurement systems and conversions between Metric and U.S. Customary units.

With a strong focus on real-world application and operational decision-making, this course prepares participants for the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification exam. Students will gain the technical knowledge, practical skills, and industry confidence needed to succeed in warehouse, distribution, and transportation environments while advancing toward higher-level logistics and supply chain careers.
