Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) Course - Clinical Skills Only

Mercer County Community College School of Nursing offers a two-day Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) Course with in-person clinical skills learning for nurses that have completed an online basic forensic nurse examiner course. The course includes pre-course online work and hands-on clinical practice. The clinical skills component focuses on the practical aspects of forensic nursing, such as patient interviewing, physical assessments, forensic photography and specimen collection.

This activity has been submitted to Emergency Nurses Association for approval to award 24.5 contact hours. Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Format: Blended learning, including 9.25 hours of online pre-course work and in-person clinical sessions using live gynecologic teaching aides

Dates: 10/17 and 10/18, 9am-5pm
