Welcome to the HRIM Program

The Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management program prepares students for employment in various entry-level management careers in the lodging and food service industries. Areas of employment include assistant manager in hotel/motel operations; club, restaurant or banquet manager of commercial eating establishments; and assistant food service management positions in hospitals, schools and other institutions.

The program includes an internship in a hotel, restaurant or institutional food service facility. Placement assistance is offered by program faculty through cooperative agreements with hotels, food service facilities, and restaurants in the Mercer County area.   more

Great News MCCC:
Breakfast is served!

Our culinary and pastry arts students are learning the craft of making breakfast and you are the beneficiary!

Beginning Wednesday, May 24 through Friday, June 3 (closed Memorial Day, May 30) from 8:30 am - 10 am, you are invited to visit us in ES114 for a delicious breakfast (first-come first-served as space permits).

Prices begin at only $5 (isn't that the same as a gallon of gas, sorry too soon!). Our menu will not be posted, but we assure you that there is something for everyone! We may also be able to accommodate to-go orders if time permits.

Please be very patient with our students as this is a learning process. We look forward to seeing you soon!!!
