I-20 requirements

Before you are able to arrive, there are important items you must submit and complete so that we can issue your I-20. Here are the two items you need to complete by April 30, 2015.

  1. Complete the online application for admission to Mercer at http://www.mccc.edu/admissions_application.shtml . Once this is completed you will be a Mercer County Community College student!

    2. When completing the online application, you MUST choose a major! You can select any major you like.

  2. Email legible copies of the following 5 items to bambhros@mccc.edu. The 5 items are:
    1. Your valid passport.
    2. Proof of high school completion.
    3. Proof of a minimum of B-1 proficiency level on The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
    4. Proof of immunization showing MMR and Hepatitus B.
    5. Completed and signed International Student application: click here to print the application. Your signature is very important on this form.

All 5 items need to be translated into English; scanned and legible; and sent together in one email message. Please send only one message with all 5 items attached. If you have all but one item, WAIT until you get the last item before sending the email. Send the email to bambhros@mccc.edu, Savita Bambhrolia, Director of Admissions and International Student Services. The subject line of the email should be your your full name as it appears on your passport.

Once the online appication has been completed and the email has been sent, we will review your paperwork. If everything is acceptable, you will be issued a letter of acceptance, an I-20, and SEVIS fee information. You will need this information to secure your US Visa.
