ESTIMATED FLIGHT TRAINING FEES

Aviation Flight Technology A.A.S. - Rotorcraft Transition Program (RTP) Concentration

Mercer County Community College’s Aviation Flight Technology A.A.S. – RTP concentration is designed to provide transition training to fixed wing aircraft for commercial/instrument rated helicopter pilots, multi-engine certification, and flight time building. At the end of this program, the student will have the minimum fixed wing flight time needed to be hired by a regional airline. The flight courses are accelerated courses and are designed to be completed in 21 weeks. The total estimated flight training fees will vary depending upon program training coursework required towards certification and licensing and are subject to change without notice.  Since these courses are skill based, additional time is often need to meet FAA certification requirements. See the chart below for hourly charges for additional time needed to complete the program.

Further information on flight fees and this certification program is available from the Aviation Program Coordinator.
