Something for Everyone During 2013-14 Season at MCCC’s Kelsey Theatre

MCCC's Kelsey Theatre kicks off its 2013-14 season with a trip back to Roman times when PinnWorth Productions presents "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" Sept. 6 to 15. This high energy classic starts off a colorful season of 22 full-length dramas and musical productions. Online ticket sales and season subscriptions will be available Aug. 20.

MCCC Students Gain New Perspectives in Study Tours to Poland and Amsterdam

MCCC students who participated in faculty-led Study Tours to Poland and Amsterdam in late May got together recently to share their impressions and opinions about the cultures and histories of the countries they visited.

Veterinary Assistant Program Earns National Certification

For those who would like to turn their affection for animals into a career, MCCC’s Center for Continuing Studies (CCS) offers a Veterinary Assistant Certificate program that prepares students for entry-level jobs in nine months.

Lessons Learned From Vietnam POW Camp is Topic of Book by Mercer Staffer

Peter Fretwell of Robbinsville, manager of WWFM The Classical Network on Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor campus, has published a book examining the experiences of POWs imprisoned in the Hanoi Hilton and how those experiences contributed to personal and professional success.

MCCC Grad Sierra Downs Selected for NJCAA Lea Plarski Award

Hamilton resident Sierra Downs, a cross country runner and 2013 graduate honors graduate, was named by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) as the 2013 Lea Plarski Award recipient, based on athletics, academics, and community services.
