HPE111 - Living with Health

Mercer's options for distance learners include Telecourses. Students learn independently by watching video segments, reading materials, completing assignments and taking tests. Faculty and students communicate by mail, phone, e-mail, and in person by appointment.

Warning: Distance Learning is not for everyone. Successful distance learners are self motivated and committed to investing time in their course, assignment completion and study. Distance learners should plan to attend the orientations.

HPE111 Orientation (mandatory for Telecourse ) - You only need to attend one session.
Wednesday, January 23, 6 p.m. CM110
Thursday, January 24, noon in CM107

HPE111 Fully Online Orientation
You can attend the MercerOnline Face-to-Face Orientation or Online Orientation; you only need to attend one session.

Saturday, January 19, 10 a.m. in CM110
Tuesday, January 22, 6 p.m. in CM110

You must take tests and complete assignments specified in the course syllabus. A letter will be sent to you in the mail with the dates and times of course meetings and orientations. You must attend orientation to obtain your course materials. If you cannot attend orientation you must contact your professor prior to the start of class.

  • HPE111 Syllabus - NOTE: You will need to see your professor if you have not attended the mandatory orientation.
