1/14/19

West Windsor, N.J. – Mercer County Community College (MCCC) invites families to a Summer Camps Open House on Sunday, Jan. 27, noon to 3 p.m., in the Student Center on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. (Snow date: Sunday, Feb. 3.)

Camp directors will be on hand to provide overviews of all camp programs and answer questions about scheduling, staffing and pricing. Tours of MCCC's extensive facilities will be available, including computer labs, Olympic-size swimming pool, sports fields, tennis courts, and cafeteria.

More than 70 options are available for fun and enrichment during Summer 2019. The season begins June 17 and runs through August 16.

MCCC's long-running programs for children ages 6-16 include: Camp College, offered in two sessions (June 24 to July 19 and July 22 to August 16); one-week, full- and half-day Specialty Camps (June 17 to August 16); Sports Camps, featuring 18 separate one-week sessions in five different sports (June 24 to August 9); and Tomato Patch Visual and Performing Arts Workshops, offered five days a week in two sessions (June 24 to July 18 for 8th through 12th graders and July 22 to August 9 for 4th through 7th graders.) Two Master Class sessions will be offered for 8th to 12th graders; Session I is from June 24 to July 12; Session II is July 22 to August 9. (Students may sign up for one or both.) (Note that the Tomato Patch schedule includes Fridays (except for the show week) for the first time.)

Before and after-camp care is available for all programs. Families will be able to submit their camp registration forms at the Open House, guaranteeing the widest selection from Mercer's offerings. For those who plan to complete the application at the Open House, some medical information, including current immunization records, is required.
