History of the Mercer County Holocaust/Genocide Resource Center

The concept for the Center was initiated in 1998 by then Mercer County Executive Robert Prunetti. Joining Mercer County as partners in the project were Mercer County Community College; Robert R. Rose, President, and the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education. An advisory committee of community, educational and agency representatives meets monthly to implement the mission and activities of the Center. The Center opened officially on January 15, 2003.
