Rubric for the Introduction to Sociology
Research Paper
The general objective for the Research Paper is for each student to explore a topic from course material covered. PLEASE PROVIDE TOPIC SELECTION BY NOVEMBER 30, 2008

The completed paper is generally clear and coherent. However there are some mechanical and/or grammatical errors that detract from and weaken the total impact. |
The completed paper is well organized and developed. Grammar and language mechanics are excellent. Paragraph construction is strong, and citations, if needed, are complete. The conclusion is logically developed. |
