Module 4 Activity Checklist

Online Lesson: Pedagogy CheckPoint (Will take about an hour)
Visit VIC101, Module 4, Online Session, Pedagogy CheckPoint. Complete the SoftChalk lesson addressing Assessment. During the process, you’ll be expanding your notes on Best Practices.

Upon completing the online lesson above, complete the short CAT that awaits you.
Prior to class on Tuesday, 5/4 VIC101 Module 4 It’s best to complete this prior to doing the Assessments activities below.
Fair Use and Multimedia:
Using Shutterstock, Intelecom, ARTStor and/or YouTube, search for and locate a few multimedia resources that support the student learning objectives of your Model Module. Make sure that you have rights (Fair Use/Copyright) to these resources. Review instructions in VIC101 Module 4 to refresh your memory and gain access.
Use these resources in your PPT presentation, your SoftChalk presentation and/or in some appropriate way in your Model Module.
If used in PPT, upload the PPT to your module and label it so that we know it’s been updated. The SoftChalk will be sent to our offices for uploading.
Friday, 4/30 TEAM COURSE
Assessments:
In your Personal Folder of your Team Course, create a short quiz. The quiz should be at least 5 questions long and contain at least one of each of the following question types:
    Multiple Choice
    Multiple Select
    Ordering
    Matching
    Short Answer or Essay
Use the Assessment Tool to create and position a short CAT (Classroom Assessment Technique) appropriate to your Model Module.
Friday, 4/30 TEAM COURSE
Peer Review/Discussion Forum
After Friday, April 30, but before the beginning of class on Tuesday, May 4, you should do the following within your Team Course:
    Visit the Personal Folders of your peers within your Team Course.
    In the Team Discussion Forum, review the uses of multimedia and the Assessments created by your peers. Provide constructive feedback of at least one other person's work.
    In the Team Discussion Forum, post a meaningful response to at least one posting by your peers.

SoftChalk
Continue working on the SoftChalk presentation you're creating for your model module. You may want to include some of the Multimedia Resources discussed in this week’s Hands-On session. Once you have completed the design and creation of your SoftChalk presentation, contact the Virtual College team and we will help you upload it to your Personal Folder (609.570.3389 or virtual.college@mccc.edu) .
Prior to the start of class on May 4, 2010 Submit to Virtual College Office. It’s best to save on your flash drive.
Formative Assessment
