Disabling Browser Toolbars

Web browsers can be customized and enhanced in a variety of manners. There are themes, plug-ins, and add-ons that can be installed into browsers. One of the most common browser enhancements is the browser toolbar. Toolbars are added by various providers (Google, Yahoo!, etc.) and can contain scripts that will interfere with the functionality of ANGEL.

This tune-up lesson will show you how to disable these toolbars without having to uninstall them.

The image below displays a browser with the Google toolbar enabled.

To disable this toolbar, RIGHT CLICK anywhere within the toolbar area.
When you do this, it should look something like this:

Click on the name of the toolbar you wish to disable (in this example, we're disabling the Google toolbar).

And the toolbar is disabled!
