MCCC Business Students Participate in Virtual Trade Fair

West Windsor, N.J. -- Five students from Mercer County Community College's Center for Simulated Business Services participated in the New York Trade Fair with Professor of Aviation and Business Joan Jones on April 11. The students represented their simulated travel agency, B-Gone Travel.

According to Jones, students spent the day engaged in the real-world practices of marketing, selling, and purchasing as they interacted with hundreds of firms from all over the world.

Noting that the event reinforced what is covered in class, Jones noted that students enjoyed the fast-paced environment of this live virtual trade fair.

"They learned the importance of effective marketing, enhanced their communications skills through interaction with other firms, and traded with many firms both domestic and international," Jones said. "It was a great day for all of us."
