Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" comes to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre.
This new musical, inspired by the life of a true hero of the American
Revolution, will be presented for two shows only, Saturday, April
14 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is conveniently located on Mercer's
Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
story is set in Boston, where a simple artisan named Paul Revere
makes a humble living as a silversmith, winning praise for his work
from both his American and British customers. When Paul's activist
friends, John Hancock and Samuel Adams, urge him to stand with them
against the British, he hesitates as he weighs the costs to his
family and his livelihood. Ultimately he must choose between doing
what is easy and doing what is right.

family audiences. Established in 1961, TheatreworksUSA has toured
in 49 states and Canada, with current audiences numbering about
four million people annually. Theatreworks is the only children's
theatre to receive both a Drama Desk and a Lucille Lortel Award,
and was the recipient of a 2001 Jonathan Larson Performing Arts
Foundation Award. In May 2000, The Actors Fund of American bestowed
its Medal of Honor upon Theatreworks founders, Jay Harnick and Charles
$10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Free parking is
