Windsor, N.J. -- Three of Stan and Jan Berenstain's most popular
children's books are blended in a new, fun-filled musical
coming to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre.
Matt Murphy Productions, in special arrangement with TheatreworksUSA,
presents "The Berenstain Bears in Family Matters,
The Musical" Saturday, April 30 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey
Theatre is located on the college's West
Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

through song and dance, the bears offer valuable lessons to
young audiences drawn from "The Berenstain Bears Learn
About Strangers," "The Berenstain Bears and Too
Much Junk Food," and "The Berenstain Bears' Trouble
music, book, and lyrics by Michael Borton, this production
premiered at Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia in Spring,
2009. For the national tour, produced by Matt Murphy Productions,
Theatreworks/USA's Michael Slade, co-author of "Superfudge"
and "Lyle Lyle Crocodile," joined the production
team, along with the staging and design team behind Theatreworks'
hit show "Junie B. Jones." After a brief New York
City area tour in 2010, "The Berenstain Bears" began
its national tour in the fall.
