Two MCCC Employees Honored for Service

West Windsor, N.J. – Mercer County Community College (MCCC) Registrar Joan Guggenheim, of East Windsor, and Kelsey Theatre Administrative Specialist Amy Bessellieu, of Lawrenceville, were presented with awards in recognition of their service to the college and the community at MCCC’s Annual Employee Recognition Ceremony in May. Awardees are nominated by their MCCC colleagues.

Guggenheim received the Employee Human Relations Award for her stellar service to students, faculty and staff.  Considered the college’s go-to staff member in student records and enrollment, Guggenheim was recognized as an effective problem solver who devotes long hours to meeting students' needs.  An employee who is often called upon to assist others, she was praised for “setting the example for gracious and professional service and performing her duties with precision and care.”  Guggenheim has been employed at Mercer since 1985 and has served as registrar since 2000.
