Unit 4 - Using a Database to Find an Article
Things to consider when using database articles:
- Because of copyright and contractual reasons, most but not all of the articles available in the databases will be available to you in complete full-text.
- In most cases, even when the full-text is not available, databases will give you an abstract (summary) of the articles you locate.
- You may print, download, and/or email the database article you locate.
- Unlike general web searching, with databases you may limit your searches:
- To just full-text articles
- By date or date range
- To just scholarly (aka peer reviewed) sources
