What is SAP?
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is the measure of a student’s overall academic progress. The U.S. Department of Education requires that all students who receive financial aid, including loans, make satisfactory academic progress toward their program of study (as established by Mercer County Community College. A student’s entire academic history will be reviewed for the purposes of determining SAP, including credits not paid for by financial aid. The Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy is separate from the College's Student Academic Standing Policy.
