Mercer Student Inducted Into Business Honor Society

Lynn Rowlands, president of MCCC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, was inducted on May 4 into the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association Honor Society (NJCBAA).
This society recognizes the very highest academic achievement of undergraduate students, and only the top 1% of students at their respective institutions are invited to join each year.

During ceremonies at the State House in Trenton, Rowlands was accompanied by Mercer's Dee Smith-Johns, Kristen Callahan and Helene Plank, as well as her family and friends.

Phi Theta Kappa Advisor Helene Plank, left, with awardee Lynn Rowlands.

Rowlands said, "The invitation to join the NJCBAA was an unexpected and thrilling honor. I am so grateful for the support and recognition I have received from the faculty and staff at Mercer. The success I have achieved at the college give me the incentive to continue my education and to reach higher in my life. I will be eternally grateful for the opportunities I have been given during my years as a student at MCCC."
