It's "Back to School Night
for Adults" Aug. 13 at MCCC

Windsor, N.J. - Mercer
County Community College's Center for Continuing Studies will host a "Back
to School Night for Adults," focusing on short-term, noncredit training
programs, including those suitable for career changers. The open house
takes place on Thursday, Aug. 13, 5 p.m. at The Conference Center on the
West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
Mercer's wide ranging noncredit options include classes in business and
management, computer applications, education, health careers, fitness
and personal development. Numerous online noncredit courses range from
anatomy to web design.
Programs for fall include not only individual courses, but professional
licensure and certificate programs in diverse areas such as graphic design,
project management, nonprofit management, human resources, dental radiology,
nurse aide, gerontology, and ServSafe certification for food service managers.
A new program in "Green Future Management" is designed for professionals
in architecture, engineering, real estate, government, nonprofit and sales
who need the latest information on creating sustainable practices and
projects.
Open house attendees will receive a coupon for a 10 percent discount on
fall registration, plus the chance to win a free class. Refreshments will
be provided.
