Preparation Course for Dental Radiologic Technologists

Begins April 29


WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- Mercer County Community College is offering a new program in Dental Radiologic Technology that will prepare students for the New Jersey license examination. This is an opportunity for those who are out of work to train for a new career.

The class begins April 29 and will meet on 14 Wednesdays through July 29, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The laboratory component of the class will meet at Hamilton Dental, 2501 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ, and classroom work will be at MCCC's West Windsor campus. Attendance is mandatory.

Students must be 18 years old by the time they complete the course, which is suitable for all ages. A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. Taught by Charlene Fenster, BSDH, MA, the course is approved by the New Jersey Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. Tuition and fees are $640; and lab fees are $249.
