Colavita, Melker to Chair "La Belle Notte," MCCC's Dinner Dance Gala to Benefit Students in Need

Mercer County Freeholder Chair Pat Colavita and Bank of Princeton Senior Vice President Nina Melker are co-chairing the planning committee for the Mercer County Community College Foundation Dinner Dance Gala, set for March 26.

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The Mercer County Community College Foundation Board of Directors will host its 2011 Dinner Dance Gala, “La Bella Notte” (the beautiful evening) on Saturday, March 26, 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency, Princeton.

Proceeds from the event go to scholarships for deserving students and other student needs. Each year the Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to high-achieving and financially qualified students, including part-time students and single parents. Many students benefit from endowed or named scholarships established by donors through the Foundation.

The gala event will include dinner, dancing and a silent auction with original artwork donated by area artists. Serving as co-chairs of the committee are Nina Melker, senior vice president of The Bank of Princeton, and Pasquale Colavita, chair of the Mercer County Freeholders.

Businesses and community members are invited to participate in the MCCC Dinner Dance through corporate sponsorships, advertisements in the program book, silent auction donations, and/or tickets to the event.
