Linda Martin Appointed Director of Nursing Education


Linda Martin of North Brunswick has been appointed Director of Nursing Education at Mercer County Community College. Most recently she was director of a bachelor’s degree program in nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. For 13 years she coordinated the first-year nursing education program at St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing in Trenton. She also worked as a registered nurse at Roosevelt Hospital in Edison and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Martin holds a B.S. in nursing from Trenton State College and an M.S. in nursing from Rutgers University. She is pursuing an Ed.D. degree in higher education leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Mercer County Community College’s Nursing program combines coursework with clinical experience in health care facilities under faculty supervision. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.
