WINDSOR, N.J. -- Mercer County Community College's arts faculty
and students will present "Garden State Project #2:
Security," a collaborative exhibition, from
May 12 to June 3 at Gallery 125, across from the Trenton Marriot
Hotel, at 125 South Warren Street.
"Garden
State Project #2: Security" continues an experiment
that resulted in an exhibition last spring. The theme of this
year's exhibition is 'security,' and its works range from political
to personal, and from serious to humorous. "This is an exploration
of innovative multidisciplinary approaches built around research,
investigation, and exploration of important contemporary issues
and ideas," said Yevgeniy Fiks, fine arts faculty member.
"Through the process of student-faculty collaboration, a
new model of communication and creative exchange is established."
Gallery
hours for the show are Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon to 6 p.m.,
and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
