WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- Mercer County Community College will host an Open House for those interested in exploring associate degree programs in Electronics Engineering Technology and Energy Utility Technology. The event takes place on Wednesday evening, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the college's Student Center, room 107, on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. Faculty members, including program coordinator Dom DeFino, will present information about the prerequisites needed to enter these programs and the career opportunities in these fields. Representatives from Thomas Edison State College will also present information. Attendees will be invited to ask questions, and will be offered a laboratory tour to see the experiments of current students. The Energy Utility Technology program was developed in cooperation with Public Service Electric and Gas Company. Internship programs with the utility company have led many Mercer graduates to well-paying, full-time positions. Both programs enable participants to either enter a career field right after graduation or to transfer to a bachelor's degree program. Graduates often transfer to the New Jersey Institute of Technology and similar institutions. Light
refreshments will be served. For more information call the MCCC Admissions
office at 609-570-3795. The Electronics Engineering program, page 36 |
