The Public is Invited to a Flight Fair April 28


WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The aviation faculty of Mercer County Community College will be offering small-plane rides on Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trenton-Mercer Airport. The rain date is Sunday, April 29. The cost is 20 cents per pound (weights are kept secret), with a minimum charge of $8 and a maximum of $22 per person.

Proceeds will benefit the college's Flight Team, which took first place at the Region VII competition of the National Intercollegiate Flying Association last fall. The team will be traveling to compete in the national competition at Ohio State University in May.

The Trenton-Mercer Airport is located in Ewing Township. Visitors should take I-95 to the Scotch Road exit, then follow the signs to Ronson Aviation. The college's hangar is down the road to the right of Ronson.

Mercer County Community College offers an associate degree program in Flight Technology that attracts students from throughout the state and region. The college owns a fleet of airplanes housed at the Trenton-Mercer Airport.
