Aviation Flight Team Hosting Rock Concert Feb. 22

WINDSOR, N.J. -- Mercer County Community College's Aviation Flight
Technology program's Flight Team is hosting "RockFest 2009"
on Sunday, February 22 at Kelsey Theatre on the college's campus at,
1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor, NJ. The doors open at 6 p.m.
The concert will feature live performances by four well-known area
bands, Cascadence, Jon Lall, The Dave Trotta Band, and 100% Cotton.
The event will
raise funds to support the Flight Team as it travels to a national
championship competition in St. Louis, after winning a regional
competition in October. Three Flight Team members play in the bands.
Bill Dripps of East Windsor plays electric and upright bass for
100% Cotton. Sean Capiak of Tabernacle, NJ plays drums for the Dave
Trotta Band, and Keith Stover of Ringoes, NJ plays drums for the
band Cascadence.
A "Flight
Discovery" prize will be given out, which includes a free 45-minute
introductory flying lesson with a certified flight instructor.
All ages are
welcome. Refreshments will be served. Tickets are $10.00 and are
available in advance by calling (609) 570-3489. Tickets will also
be available at the door. Ample free parking is located next to
Kelsey Theatre.
