Student to Speak at MCCC's Scholarship Dinner Dance

WEST
WINDSOR, N.J. -- Nursing student Letisha Hogans of Princeton will
speak at Mercer County Community College's Scholarship Dinner Dance,
representing the hundreds of students who have received scholarship
dollars raised through this annual event. This year's gala event,
"On a Sea Cruise," takes place at the Hyatt Regency, Princeton
on Saturday evening, March 7, and includes dinner, dancing and a
silent auction, including original artwork donated by area artists.
Jill
Whelan, a cast member in the TV show "Love Boat" will
entertain and greet guests. AAA has donated a $500 gift certificate
which can be used for any of their trips, which will be raffled.
Three long-time
supporters of the college will be honored. Receiving the "Spirit
of Education" awards will be Faridy,Veisz, Fraytak Architects,
P.C. and Janssen, Division of Ortho McNeil Janssen Pharmaceuticals
Inc. The "Spirit of Service" award will go to Richard
Kisco, owner of LeFleur, The Princeton Flower Shop. Nina Melker
of The Bank of Princeton is serving as committee chair. Click here
