MCCC's Photography Club, "Camera Lucida," Volunteer at HomeFront's Family Preservation Center

On May 9 Mercer's Photography Club, "Camera Lucida," visited HomeFront's Family Preservation Center.

Photography majors (from left to right) Mark Simon, Amanda Baranowski, Weronika Piechota and Charles Plohn donated their time and talent to make family portraits for about 25 mothers with their children. The photographs will be printed using materials supplied by the students and given to the HomeFront clients. The students had a lot of fun photographing and interacting with the children and the students received the following thank you from the volunteer coordinator:

"Thank you for coming over to the HomeFront Family Preservation Center today to take pictures. I hope that your photo crew enjoyed the interaction with the families. Some of the families have never had a professional photo taken before, so this was a real treat for them. I am so happy that HomeFront-FPC was your choice for a community service project."
