Women's Tennis Shuts Out Camden CC in 9-0 Win

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s tennis moved to 5-3 following a 9-0 win vs Camden CC (3-1).  The Vikings won all six of their Singles matches: freshman Leticia Kitio (Lawrence, NJ/Lawrence HS) won 6-1, 6-0 at 1st Singles, sophomore Valeria Vargas (Valencia, Venezuela/Instituto Santa Cruz) won 6-0, 6-0 at 2nd Singles, freshman Diana Kalajdzic (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown HS) got a 6-1, 6-1 win at 3rd Singles, freshman Andrea Vasquez (San Felipe, Venezuela/Hightstown HS) won 6-1, 6-1 at 4th Singles, freshman Makenna Swasey (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) won 6-1, 6-4 at 5th Singles and freshman Jessica Buker (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) got a 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (8) win at 6th Singles.

The Vikings also won all three of their Doubles matches with Kitio and Vargas winning 8-0 at 1st Doubles, Kalajdzic and Vasquez winning 8-2 at 2nd Doubles and Swasey and Buker getting an 8-2 win at 3rd Singles. 

The Vikings next host RCSJ Gloucester (2-5) on Tuesday, April 16th at 3:30 PM at Mercer County Park.
