Women's Tennis Beats Camden 7-2 in Home Opener

West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s tennis (2-1) beat Camden 7-2 in their home opener.  Ophomores Julia Fillat Ferrer (Barcelona, Spain/Santa Ana Mataro) and Sarvin Salehi (Princeton, NJ) did not lose a point at 1^st Doubles in an 8-0 win and sophomore Aida Torrealba (San Felipe, Venezuela/U.E. Colegio) and Ariadna Acosta Camacho (Barcelona, Spain/Escolapies Lluria) also did not give up a point in their 8-0 win at 2^nd Doubles.

 

Fillat Ferrer, Torrealba and Acosta Camacho did not lose a point in their wins at 1^st, 3^rd and 4^th Singles respectively.  Salehi got a 6-1, 6-0 win at 2^nd Singles and freshman Fathima Salman Al Faris (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick HS) won 6-3, 6-0 at 5^th Singles.
