West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (17-5) beat Monroe College (9-20) 3-2 in Game 2 of their doubleheader. Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) struck out eight in seven innings in her seventh win. Sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs including a game winning walk off double. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 2 for 4 with an RBI and freshman Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) had a triple and RBI in the win.
The Vikings next travel to Lackawanna (21-8) for a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday, April 6th.
