Newtown, PA-Mercer softball moved to 33-15 following a 10-1 Game 2 win at Bucks CCC in Game 2 of their doubleheader in six innings. Freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) had 3 RBIs and 2 runs and freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) went 2 for 3 with a home run and RBI. Sophomore Maya Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township) went 2 for 4 and freshman Ada Kaschl (Brussels, Belgium/European School of Brussels III) was 2 for 4 with an RBI.
Freshman pitcher Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) allowed just two hits and one earned run over six innings in his eighth win. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) added an RBI in the win.
The Vikings next host Salem CC (24-8) on Tuesday, April 23rd at 3:00 PM.
