Bethlehem, PA-Mercer softball moved to 31-5 following a 9-1 win at Northampton CC (12-6) in five innings. Freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Izzy Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 RBIs. Sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) had a home run and RBI and freshman Ada Kaschl (Brussels, Belgium/European School of Brussels III) went 1 for 2 with an RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) allowed just one earned run over five innings in her twelfth win of the season. Freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) added an RBI in the win.
The Vikings next travel to Bucks CCC for a 3:00 PM doubleheader on Friday, April 19th.
