West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball (23-5) beat County College of Morris (7-7) 21-3 in five innings in Game 2 of their doubleheader. Freshman Ada Kaschl (Brussels, Belgium/European School of Brussels III) went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs and freshman Kelci O’Dell was 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs. Freshman Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) was 2 for 3 with a double, 2 RBIs and 3 runs and freshman Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) went 2 for 3 with a double, 2 RBIs and 3 runs.
Freshman Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had a double and 2 RBIs and freshman Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township) added 2 RBIs. Sophomores Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) and Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) and freshman Natalie Santiago (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) each added an RBI in the win. Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) got her tenth win of the season.
Mercer next hosts Sussex CCC (2-14) in a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday, April 13th.
