West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 10-4 following a 13-3 win vs Suffolk CCC (0-2) in Game 2 of their doubleheader. Freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 RBIs and sophomore Cierra Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) had a home run and 2 RBIs. Freshman Jessica Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) had a double and 2 RBIs and freshman Ada Kaschl (Brussels, Belgium/European School of Brussels III) went 2 for 3 with 2 runs.
Freshmen Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley), Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) and Natalie Santiago (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) and sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) each had an RBI in the win. Sophomore pitcher Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) struck out four in five innings in her fourth win of the season.
The Vikings next host Raritan Valley CC (0-2) in a 3:00 PM doubleheader on Tuesday, March 26th.
