Myrtle Beach, SC-Mercer softball (6-4) lost to Danville Area CC (9-5) 8-10 in 8 innings in their final game in Myrtle Beach. Sophomore Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Kelci O’Dell (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) was 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs. Freshmen Angelina Guida (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township) and Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) each had an RBI in the loss. Sophomore Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) went 2 for 4 with a double and freshmen Madison Jobes (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) and Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley) each had two hits in the loss.
The Vikings next host Orange CCC (3-3) in a 12:00 PM doubleheader on Thursday, March 21st.
