West Windsor, NJ-Mercer softball moved to 6-0 following a 9-1 Game 2 win vs Hudson Valley (1-5). Sophomore Stella Logan (Trenton, NJ/Allentown) went 4 for 4 with a double, triple and 3 RBIs. Freshman Bella Cornish-DiDonato (Titusville, NJ/Hopewell Valley) was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBIs and sophomore Arianna Acevedo (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored. Freshman Priscilla Gurthrie (Macomb, MI/Luthern North) had a double and RBI and sophomore Jozalyn Sheipe-Warthen (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) and freshman Ammonie Wertz (Ewing, NJ/Mercer County Tech) each added an RBI in the win. Freshman pitcher Ashlee Haywood (Ewing, NJ/Council Rock North) earned her third win of the season giving up just one run in six innings.
