Vineland, NJ-Mercer women’s soccer (3-4-3) beat RCSJ Cumberland (0-2) 9-0. Sophomore Charlotte Sayer (Ipswich, England/Kesgrave HS) had a big game for Mercer with a hat trick and two assists. Sophomore Ana Pacheco (Florianopolis, Brazil/Colegio Caternise) and freshman Lucia Minambres (Arenys de Munt, Spain/Insitut Domenic) each had two goals and an assist. Sophomore Julia Fillat Ferrer (Barcelona, Spain/Santa Ana Mataro) had a goal and an assist and freshman Pippa Kleijer (Den Haag, Netherlands/DeVrye School) had two assists. Sophomore Mia Belton (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) scored and goal and sophomore Louise Stritch (Preston Lanchashire, England/Archbishop Temple) added an assist in the win.
Mercer next travels to CCBC Essex (2-5-1) for a 12:00 PM game on Saturday, September 27th.
