West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s basketball fell to #4 ranked CCBC Essex (3-0) 80-83 in a great game and effort. Sophomore Mayah Alford (Levittown, PA/Trenton Catholic Academy) had her second straight double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds along with thee blocks and three steals. Freshman Evangelina Fransisco (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township) scored 21 pints and has five three point field goals along with six rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Alexandra Garcia Galan (Barcelona, Spain/Jesuites Sarnia Sant Ignasi) had 15 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Zaakirah Edwards (Philadelphia, PA/Mastery Charter) added 13 points. Freshman Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) had her second straight double double with ten points and ten rebounds.
