West Windsor, NJ-Mercer women’s basketball moved to 5-1 on the season with a 88-54 win vs Raritan Valley (2-3). Freshman Evangelina Francisco (Monroe, NJ/Monroe Township) led Mercer with 24 points and freshman Qui-Mia Wilkins (Pemberton, NJ/Thrive Charter) had a double double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Zaakirah Edwards (Philadelphia, PA/Mastery Charter) had 16 points, five assists, five steals and five rebounds and sophomore Patricia Monroe (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman) added 14 points and eight rebounds in the win.
Sophomore Xana Garcia Galan (Barcelona, Spain/Jesuites Sarnia Sant Ignasi) had 13 points, four steals and four rebounds and sophomore Mayah Alford (Levittown, PA/Trenton Catholic Academy) added six points, nine rebounds and four steals in the win.
Mercer next travels to #8 ranked Harcum (5-1) for a 12:00 PM game on Saturday, November 22nd.
