West Windsor, NJ-Mercer men’s soccer moved to 2-2-1 following a 3-0 win vs Cecil College (0-1). Sophomore Rutger Noordegraaf (Rhoon, Netherlands/Wolfert Tweetalig) scored the first goal of the game off a beautiful corner kick by freshman Stephen Annan (Bolzano, Italy/Claudia De Medici).
Sophomore Emilio Muguruza (Madrid, Spain/GSD Las Rozas) scored the second goal of the game off an assist from freshman Corso Casteletti (Florence, Italy/Poggio Imperiale Florence).
Freshman Alehandro Sina (Belluno, Italy/V. Fullozolo De Rossi) scored the third Mustang goal on a penalty kick to help seal the win. Freshman goalie Yoshi Ando (Yosuka, Japan/Joetsu High School) got the shutout in the net.
Mercer next hosts Sussex (0-1) on Saturday, September 5th at 12:00 PM.
