Bel Air, MD-Mercer men’s soccer (6-2-1) won their fifth game in a row, beating Harford (4-4-1) 3-0. The Mustangs struck early off a goal from sophomore Jesse Van Den Berg (Rhoon, Netherlands/Portus Groene Hart) two minutes into the game. Freshman Akinari Eto (Nagasaki, Japan/Chinzei Gakuin High School) scored the second goal of the game just before the end of the first half (44’37) to put Mercer up 2-0 heading into halftime. Freshman Alehandro Sina (Belluno, Italy/V. Follzolo De Rossi) helped seal the Mustang win with a goal at the 65’54 mark.
Mercer next travels to Berkeley College on September 29th for a 3:00 PM game.
