Newark, NJ-Mercer men’s soccer moved to 8-0 following a 5-3 win at Essex County College (3-1). MCCC was down 3-2 halfway through the second half and scored three stright goals for the win. Sophomore Daniel Garcia (Madrid, Spain/Zola School) scored four goals and added an assist in the win. Sophomore Deniz Karcher (Heidenheim, Germany/Max Planck Gymnasium) scored a goal and sophomores Adrian Gonzalez (Madrid, Spain/Zola School), Javier Hernandez (Madrid, Spain/IES Lazaro Cardenas) and Camilo Osorio (Manitales, Columbia/Gimnasio Campestre la Consulate) each had an assist.
Mercer next travels to Frederick CC (1-5-1) for a 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 20th.
